The Highland Run

Route

This is the route for the Highland Run. There are 2 start points depending on how much time you’re spending on this. For the Standard Route, start at the Sir Loin of Beef in Highland Road. If you’ve got more time (Pro Route) start at the Eastney Tavern and hit the additional pubs along the way to the Sir Loin of Beef.

Head West along Highland Road, then Albert Road, visiting each of the pubs along the way until you get to the One Eyed Dog.

Southsea Scene
- Eastney Cellars A wide range of live music, and drinks, makes this another excellent venue. Also features as part of the Highland Run!
- Little Johnny Russell's One of the better pubs in Southsea, at the correct end of Albert Road
- Strong Island A site designed to promote, showcase and inform people about the Portsmouth and Southsea scene.
- The Belle Isle Super nice now they’ve moved into what has always a tricky location, great food too.
- Wedgewood Rooms Outstanding Historic Music / Drinking Venue
